This is going to cost innocent lives…
Just when we thought things couldn’t get any more crazier, New Mexico’s mayor of Albuquerque has now decided to replace some 911 responses with social workers instead of police officers.
According to Fox News, “Albuquerque Mayor Tim Keller decided the city would create a “first-of-its-kind” cabinet-level department that would respond to calls on inebriation, homelessness, addiction and mental health.”
Today, we’re announcing a first of its kind concept for our city – a civilian public safety branch. https://t.co/LMVgnxgoYd
