News has just come out that the White House has shutdown one of it’s cafeterias and started contact tracing after an employee tested positive for COVID-19.
According to the Washington Examiner, the cafeteria is located in the Eisenhower Executive Office Building.
“All proper protocols were in place by the vendor including masks, gloves, plastic shielding at check out, and no dine-in service,” a General Services Administration spokesperson said. “The White House Medical Unit has done contact tracing and determined that the risk of retransmission is low.”
