Mark A. Wolf, a Massachusetts federal judge, might’ve just changed social media forever.
In a case of federal civil rights violation ((Dr. Shiva Ayyadurai vs. Twitter), Wolf put pen to paper and made Twitter disclose if they’re genuinely a private company or a “state actor.”
He did it in the wake of discovering that Twitter deleted Ayyadurai’s voter fraud allegations at the behest of the Massachusetts Secretary of State’s office.
Dr. Shiva Ayyadurai, the man who invented email, ran for US Senate in Massachusetts as a Republican and made allegations of voter fraud on Twitter. These tweets were then deleted by the far-left tech giant. Later it was discovered that they were deleted at the direction of government employees of the Massachusetts Secretary of State’s office. The Gateway Pundit
You live by the sword; you die by the sword.
Twitter has been hiding behind the “we’re a private company, we can do what we want” spiel for ages.
If their main justification proves to be a falsehood, it will effectively end their precious immunity.
The hearing on pending motions in the case is scheduled for May 20.
We’ll report on the developments.
