Representative Adam Kinzinger is well-known for being a RINO, and in many of his statements and appearances, he complains about President Trump.
His latest appearance on liberal media outlet NBC was no exception.
You can watch it below:
In the clip, he has this to say:
Representative Adam Kinzinger (R-IL) said Sunday on NBC’s “Meet the Press” that he had been a member of the Republican Party “far longer than” former President Donald Trump and declared that wasn’t going to “let him come in and hijack my party.”
Anchor Chuck Todd said, “How long do you fight to stay a member of a club or reform a club that doesn’t want you? I’m referring to the Republican Party.”
Kinzinger said, “Look, I’ve been a Republican far longer than Donald Trump has, and I’m not going to let him come in and hijack my party and turn it into something that great people like Ronald Reagan and George W. and George H.W. Bush and all the great leaders back didn’t want it to be. I’m not going to let Donald Trump win at that. That’s what the fight is about. I believe in what we used to believe in with 21st-century solutions, though.”Breitbart News
This level of arrogance from a RINO is no surprise at all.
The American people voted in their tens of millions to elect President Trump in 2016 and even more of them did the same in 2020.
RINOs like Kinzinger just want the GOP to go back to the status quo, where it represented special interests and lobbyists instead of American patriots.
That’s why he voted to impeach Trump and remove Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene’s committee assignments.
But it hasn’t worked out well for him.
Members of his own family shunned him over those votes, and he’s made himself an outcast among conservatives.
So just like Liz Cheney, Kinzinger’s future in the Republican Party doesn’t look bright.
