Laura Loomer is known by some as the most banned woman in the world.
That includes Twitter, which banned her quite some time ago.
Last year, she was the Republican nominee for Florida’s 21st congressional district, which is home to President Trump and Mar-a-Lago.
She recently attended a Bitcoin conference where Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey was a guest speaker.
Loomer confronted him over the issue of censorship, as well as election interference.
Here is what Loomer said.
This is a very good point, and we’re pleased that Dorsey had this said straight to his face.
Here’s the video.
Interestingly, Loomer’s upcoming candidacy for the 2022 mid-terms also serves as the first big test for Florida’s new anti-censorship bill, recently signed into law by Governor Ron DeSantis.
Banned from most major social media platforms (including Twitter), Loomer’s candidacy will be a key test for Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis’ recent law prohibiting social media companies from banning political candidates in elections.
The bill as passed lacks common carrier or public accommodation provisions, which critics say are necessary to truly curtail Big Tech’s political censorship.
However, it does clearly prohibit social media companies from banning political candidates, imposing daily fines on companies until such candidates are reinstated.Breitbart News
Loomer should have the freedom to share whatever opinions she likes on any social media platform, as well as to use the same payment processing services that the rest of us are entitled to.
Hopefully Florida will be the first state where this issue is tackled head-on, not just for Loomer, but for President Trump and countless other American patriots.
