Ohio Republican legislators have had enough of left-wing indoctrination in their schools.
It all became too much for them after one particular situation.
Republican lawmakers in Ohio are responding to the case of a Loudoun County Public School District teacher who was suspended after expressing that his religious convictions forbade him from referring to transgender children by pronouns that don’t refer to their biological sex.Breitbart News
This is a clear case of the teacher’s rights being violated, and Republicans were right to take action.
Here’s what they’re doing about it.
The Ohio bill, H.B. 322, which was introduced last month, says teachers should not be required by state agencies or school administration to “affirm a belief in … the multiplicity or fluidity of gender identities, or like ideas” if it conflicts with their personal or religious beliefs.
”No teacher shall be required by a policy of any state agency, school district, or school administration to affirm a belief in the systemic nature of racism, or like ideas, or in the multiplicity or fluidity of gender identities, or like ideas, against the teacher’s sincerely held religious or philosophical convictions,” the bill reads. “If a student completes a course that includes any of the concepts described in [the bill], that course shall not count towards the requirements for high school graduation.”Breitbart News
This seems pretty thorough, and it would be great news for students in Ohio if it passes.
Leftists want children to believe exactly the same things they do, and any dissent from that is intolerable for them.
People like that should not have influence in our education system, but they do.
It’s up to Republicans to put a stop to it.
And it’s good to notice the bill explicitly refers to gender identities, religious convictions, and systemic racism.
The notion that there are more than two genders, that they can be changed at will, and surgery is worth having to complete that change, is extremely dangerous.
Systemic racism is a form of ideological poison the Left uses for anti-white propaganda.
And of course, a person’s religious convictions should be respected, as in the case of this teacher.
For now, it looks like the teacher himself came out victorious.
In some cases those groups have jumped in to defend teachers themselves. Tanner Cross, a Virginia elementary school teacher, decided to sue the Loudon County Public School District in early June after he was placed on leave for refusing to use the correct pronouns and names for transgender students, citing his religious beliefs as a Christian.
On Tuesday, a Loudon County Circuit Court judge said school administrators had violated Cross’s free speech and religious freedom rights, mandating that the school district reinstate him to his role as a physical education teacher.Breitbart News
This is brilliant news, and an example of what can happen if Republicans actually stand up for what they believe in.
We need this to happen all across America, and if it does, we can save our red states from the clutches of radical left-wing Democrats.
