The Defense Secretary, Lloyd Austin, recently set up an anti-extremism group with the vague and sinister goal of ridding the military of people with extreme views.
Nobody, not even the Pentagon, has a definition of what these views are.
That means anyone could fall foul of this group at any time.
One advisor to the group blew the whistle on this, fearing it could violate the 1st Amendment.
Here’s what he had to say.
Instead of monitoring external threats, the Pentagon is on a mission to identify and remove whomever it labels as extremists from America’s armed forces. Ironically, the CEWG has yet to define what it means by ‘extremism.’ Extremism is usually defined as the threat or use of violence to achieve an ideological agenda. But the Pentagon is now poised to expand upon that definition to include constitutionally protected speech. In other words, sticks and stones may break our bones, but words are the biggest threat.Breitbart News
Whenever you hear anyone claiming that words are a genuine threat, you know you’re dealing with liberals.
But this is no joke.
People like this are in power across all sectors of our country, even the military.
The military becoming liberal has been truly absurd to watch unfold.
Soldiers trained in applying lethal force – which can do a lot more than break bones – are now being led by officials who think the real threat comes from words.
Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin set up the Counter-Extremism Working Group (CEWG) in April after vowing to root out extremists and ordering the entire military force to spend a day discussing “extremism.” Since there is no Pentagon definition for “extremism,” Austin tasked the CEWG, led by Bishop Garrison, to come up with a definition and to define activities that would be considered “extremist.”Breitbart News
You may think these officials are just paying lip service to liberalism, or that this group will simply be a bunch of papers getting shuffled.
But it’s more sinister than that.
Of course they’d deny it.
But would you really rule that out, when you’ve got thought-policing liberals in charge?
Best to stay on the safe side and assume that this is exactly what they’re doing.
They’re also most likely aware that their activities don’t look good from a 1st Amendment perspective, and that’s where private companies come in so handy.
And in case you’re wondering who this group is thinking of defining as extremists, it’s white people!
Berry said he was also alarmed that a number of questions raised by some of the participants showed they had preconceived notions of who extremists were — namely, white people.
“They would phrase their questions such as, ‘Well, how is this working group going to eliminate white supremacists and white extremists from the military? Isn’t that why we’re really here?’” he said.Breitbart News
This kind of thing is terrible for our country, and it’s got to be stopped.
