When it comes to the whole 2020 Presidential election, you have to wonder why anyone would make accusations of election fraud unless it were true.
Certainly, none of the people who made those accusations have had an easy road. They’ve had death threats and have been snubbed by the media and by Democrat politicians (who made voter fraud accusations when they lost elections). Why would you make an accusation of voter fraud unless your moral compass made you feel like you needed to do the right thing and tell the truth?
Apparently, Gretchen Whitmer’s Attorney General, like so many other liberals and RINOs, thinks that it’s okay to harass and to try to punish people who just want fair and honest elections in America. Zachary Stieber writes,
Michigan’s attorney general, with assistance from police officers, will investigate people who claimed election fraud happened during the 2020 contest.
A spokeswoman for Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel told news outlets on July 8 that the Democrat will probe people who allegedly made false claims, with help from Michigan State Police.
The spokeswoman said Nessel decided to launch the probes on a request from Republicans in the Michigan Senate.
A Republican-controlled Senate panel last month issued a report saying it “found no evidence of widespread or systematic fraud in Michigan’s prosecution of the 2020 election.”
The committee recommended that Nessel “consider investigating those who have been utilizing misleading and false information about Antrim County to raise money or publicity for their own ends.”
“The Committee finds those promoting Antrim County as the prime evidence of a nationwide conspiracy to steal the election place all other statements and actions they make in a position of zero credibility,” it said.
What’s interesting is that there doesn’t appear to be any evidence that the people making accusations of vote fraud were personally gaining anything from making the accusations, but, of course, there has to be some excuse to harass people just trying to do the right thing. You can’t have decent Americans questioning what they’re told by their government and media, can you?
Whether you think that vote fraud happened in Michigan or not, this investigation is an attempt to punish people who want election integrity. Sadly, this is the level of corruption and collusion that we’re seeing in America between Democrats and RINOs, now.
