I hate to say this, but after the disgraceful handling of the “investigation” into Hillary Clinton’s email server and the aiding of the creation of the Trump Russia collusion hoax, the FBI hasn’t had too many instances where we’ve seen them do their job in the last few years.
And what is that job? Protecting Americans. Enforcing legitimate laws. Notice that neither of those things have anything to do with using the agency for political means, or to abuse Americans, or to spy on Americans to keep the current
dictator administration in place.
But the FBI is trying to step outside of its job description again. Jack Phillips writes,
The FBI is receiving criticism for a tweet it posted on July 11 that suggests Americans should monitor “family members and peers” for signs of “mobilization to violence” and report “suspicious behaviors” in an effort to prevent extremist activities.
“Family members and peers are often best positioned to witness signs of mobilization to violence. Help prevent homegrown violent extremism. Visit https://go.usa.gov/x6mjf to learn how to spot suspicious behaviors and report them to the #FBI,” the tweet read. It also included two photos of an individual highlighted in red accessing a computer.
Within the tweet is a link to a government booklet […] written in 2015 regarding signs that someone might be considering violence, but the publication mainly pertains to Islamist terrorist organizations including ISIS and al-Qaeda.
Now, you have to ask yourself why the FBI put out that tweet now. Who would they be thinking of as domestic terrorists these days? Oh, yeah, Biden said that the biggest domestic terrorist threat currently comes from “white supremacists” and people who favor the U.S. above other countries.
The problem with that nonsensical statement, though, is that real white supremacists (you know, the kind who actually think that people of western European descent are better than anyone else because of their DNA) are so rare, that most Americans would have difficulty pointing out or naming one these days. And as for putting America first, isn’t that what the FBI is supposed to be doing?
Texas Republicans Ted Cruz and Dan Bishop took the FBI to task for their hypocrisy and for acting like Biden’s Gestapo (Nazi secret police) as did the former acting director of national intelligence, Richard Grenell.
Frankly, whoever thought that telling Americans to rat out fellow Americans to a corrupt government secret police organization needs to be fired. While we’re at it, why don’t we give the FBI a top down cleaning, and get all of the leftists and other corrupt bureaucrats thrown off of the government payroll? Make them go get jobs in the real world where they actually have to do something people want done for them to get paid.
