Lauren Larsen is blond, beautiful and works in an industry dominated almost entirely by men — but she loves it.
The 19-year-old apprentice carpenter, based in Melbourne, Australia, often shares videos of herself on-site, amassing thousands of comments and millions of views about her good looks and unusual job choice.
In one clip — with more than 1.9 million views — the second-year apprentice shows herself wearing her high-vis shirt with her hair pulled back.
That video was inundated with comments and questions about her career — many noting her good looks and surprising career path.
“After 44 years in the trade it’s refreshing to see you take it up, well done,” one follower wrote.
“I love seeing other women in the trade, I’m electrical,” added another.

Others said the teen has inspired them to chase their own trade dreams.
“This is what I always wanted to do but was so sacred that I would be judged,” one TikToker wrote, with Larsen replying and admitting that she was worried, too.
“Independent, hardworking AND beautiful?” one admirer wrote. “Love women who inspire me!”
Despite being a self-confessed “girly girl,” Larsen is loving her carpenter life.
“The way I see it- you’re gonna get judged no matter what you do,” Larsen wrote in a comment. “So you may as well be enjoying it.”
Other commenters simply took the time to nail down their admiration for her.
“Dam girl, you tryna build a future with me mami?” a user joked.
“The hottest carpenter out there,” declared a follower.
