Footage of the treacherous Drake Passage has flooded TikTok.

A ship-bound vlogger who goes by Natasha recently shared snippets of turbulent water slamming her vessel on a journey through the wet and wild mass, which is considered one of the most dangerous bodies of water in the world.

“Welcome to Day 2 of our adventure to Antarctica. Today is the day we cross the Drake Passage,” reads the caption for the video, which was posted last week and has 12.3 million views.

She explained that some visitors to the passage — which spans nearly 600 miles and sits between Cape Horn, off the southernmost coast of Chile, and the Antarctic’s South Shetland Islands — are sometimes greeted with the “Drake Lake,” a much calmer version of the body of water.

However, this TikToker was given the “Drake Shake,” with Natasha showing how she and other passengers were “holding on for dear life.”

TikTok users left a tsunami of comments, with many saying they were getting a “touch of seasickness just from watching this.”

The video was posted in early December and received 12.3 million views.

“My intrusive thoughts would win and I would open the door,” joked a user, while another person added, “I would immediately start crying.”

One said that they found the video educational.

“Me running to comments to find out I am the only person that doesn’t know what the drake passage is lol,” they confessed.

The Drake Passage claimed the life of at least one visitor this month after a “rogue wave” hit a Viking cruise ship, breaking cabin windows that resulted in glass striking and killing a 62-year-old passenger.
